“Academic Freeze?”

          Coronavirus pandemic is the biggest problem that we are facing nowadays that hasn’t been resolved until now which makes our education feels harder than usual. All of us are shocked and unprepared for this immediate pandemic and we didn’t even formally say goodbye to our beloved teachers and my fellow students and friends. Shutting down and quarantine methods are being ordered to cope with global pandemic. Even though COVID-19 gives a lot of circumstances the Department of Education finds and makes a way for us to still continue studying even we are in this pandemic.

         “Distance learning is a major component of learning delivery for the incoming school year. Distance learning means lessons will be delivered outside the traditional face-to-face setup. In areas where classes would be conducted face-to-face, DepEd said that physical distancing and healthy safety protocols should be observed” DepEd Secretary Leonor Briones. 

         We are all humans, we are all equal but some said that learning in this time of the pandemic is only for those who can afford it. But as I have researched what is the quality education during the COVID-19 pandemic I came to think that we don’t need to spend a lot of money otherwise they have what they called alternative learning, they can just only deliver the modules and then you just need to put a lot of effort in reading to answer the modules well. 

        When DepEd announced that classes would open in August, Richelle Bacelisco was one of those who was strongly opposed to it. She wrote an open letter to DepEd urging the department not to rush the opening of classes because she cited was the absence of the Covid-19 vaccine. “Vaccine muna bago eskwela” became hot on social media as her post got 70 000 shares and is getting even more. So maybe that’s one of the reason why they adjust the opening of classes. 

        Are you in favor of Academic Freeze? Can you give me more information or reason for the DepEd officials Academic Freeze?

    I'm very impressed with your blog, I like how you also you want to know the reasons and opinions of others of why academic freeze should be implemented, but you know we all have different lifestyle, and different opinions some people want that but some people don't.

What are the learnings/discoveries that I have gained?  The learnings and discoveries that I have gained this fourth quarter lessons is that I thought I have that much idea about this websites and any more about social media but I found out that there are many more things that I don't know about medias and websites.  2. What are the problems/challenges that I have encountered? The problems and challenges that I have encountered is that I have damage in eyes which means that I don't have that plenty of time to do and to read my modules by answering because every time my eyes aches I'll rest my eyes.  3.
