President Rodrigo R. Duterte
Malacañang Palace Compound

Dear President Duterte,

Our beloved President Rodrigo Roa Duterte. I am a student at the Ilocos Sur National High School and I’m in the 10th grade. I wrote a letter for you because I want you to know that as a Filipino citizen you’re one of the best president and I admire you even though you still commit mistakes because of your braveness and even though you’re the President you’re  still simple and humble president. I really admire you because despite of this world crisis or this Covid-19 that we are facing, you’re still doing your job as the father of our country, protecting and fulfilling our need. You really deserve the votes that people’s given to you.

Thank you for being such a great President and a great father of our country. We are going to continue respecting, trusting and supporting you. We pray for your wisdom and good health. We love you our dear President Duterte. GOD BLESS!

Sincerely,

Jaylord Lazo

Student of ISNHS

  1. I admire how he bravely and respectfully expressed this thoughts thinking that it is a letter to the President. People often speak up for their thoughts because they're afraid of the consequences that may happen but reading his blog made me braver to speak up for my thoughts too. In additional, his blog shows that he cares for the health of the President because of the crisis that we are facing right now.

  2. I like how you talked about the good sides of our president especially now that many people are considering him as a bad leader of our country because of the mistakes he made. May you continue being brave enough to use your voice to influence your fellow youth.

  3. Hi Jaylord! I respect your political stand but I do disagree on some parts of your letter. I do believe that the President could have done better in managing this pandemic and other social issues. Nonetheless, i still respect him as our President and hoping he could still do better in his remaining presidential years. God Bless!!
